From frustration to relief with my car

I noticed a light mark on my door after a check here brief errand, and searching for Bumper Scuff repair felt urgent as it looked worse than expected.

It happened near Leeds Castle, where I had parked a bit too close. When I came back, the scratch was clearly visible, catching the sun every time I moved around the car.

Later that evening, I started looking online and came across a few options. After reading some feedback, I decided to contact AutoScratch. I sent a few images and got a reply fairly quickly. The quote seemed fair, and booking a slot was easy. They suggested a visit that worked well with my schedule.

On the day, the technician arrived on time and had a quick check at the damage. He started by cleaning the area to remove any dirt. Then came careful sanding, which made me a bit uneasy at first. After that, he applied a filler where needed and carefully worked on colour matching. Watching the layering process was actually quite interesting. The final steps involved finishing, which really brought back the shine. Throughout, he explained things in a easy to follow way, which helped me understand what was being done.

By the end, the scratch was almost invisible, and the panel looked even again. I appreciated how practical it was to have everything done at my place without needing a garage visit. The whole process felt efficient, and the result gave me a lot of relief. That said, I do think this type of service is best suited for small marks rather than anything too extensive. Still, for my situation, it worked out perfectly fine, and I drove away feeling much better about my car again.
